Raju Srivastava, an actor-comedian, died on Wednesday of a cardiac arrest after fighting for his life for the past one and a half months.

The actor suffered his first cardiac arrest in August while working out at a gym in Delhi, and he was rushed to AIIMS.

He fought valiantly, and I hoped and prayed that he would survive. However, this has not occurred. I can only say that he was a true fighter."

For the past two months, Raju Srivastava's nephew Kushal Srivastava and family friend Dr Aneel Murarka had been visiting him at AIIMS on a regular basis.

Dr. Aneel Morarka, who was with Rajuji during his illness in Delhi, said, "Raju bhai and I were friends since college.

We both struggled and had no idea where we would end up. Raju bhai lived a life we can be proud of, and I hope he finds peace and comfort wherever he is."

Raju Srivastava began his career in small roles in films such as Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa, and Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya.

. After appearing on the comedy show "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge," he quickly rose to prominence as a result of his fame.

He later appeared on Bigg Boss 3 for the third season. Among those who paid tribute to Raju were Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Shekhar Suman, lyricist Manoj Muntashir, and actor Nimrat Kaur.
