What is YouTube Shorts?

YouTube Shorts is a new short-form video feature that allows creators to share engaging videos with their audience quickly and easily.

YouTube Shorts is built for creators who want to capture and share their creative moments without worrying about filming or editing a long video.

– This new feature is available to creators in select countries and regions, and we’re working to roll it out globally in the coming months.

Can YouTube Shorts Be Monetized?

Yes, YouTube Shorts can be monetized through YouTube’s Partner Program. You need to be a part of YouTube’s Partner Program to be able to monetize your YouTube Shorts

To join the Partner Program, you must be at least 18 years old and have a YouTube channel meeting YouTube’s Partner Program eligibility requirements.

YouTube came to the rescue in 2021 with a $100 million Shorts Fund, which aimed to support creative filmmakers and entice them to reach their potential by offering a $3 Million Grant for Film.

To be eligible for the grant, content creators needed only to make films that fascinated viewers on YouTube.
